In the era of rising energy prices and new regulations, energy efficiency has become the foundation of the profitability of many companies. Increasingly, they are following the path of investments to reduce energy intensity, which can apply for co-financing. A key element on this path is the performance of an energy efficiency audit.

We have excellent news for companies in the SME sector, Small Mid-caps and Mid-caps: the project ELENA (implemented in cooperation with FARR and Employers of the Republic of Poland). It allows you to finance up to 90% of the cost of preparing audits and technical documentation.

Why is the ELENA project a game changer for your company?

Most grant programs require energy audits to confirm the achievement of the required energy effect, already at the stage of submitting the grant application. In practice, this means that the company must first finance the preparation of the audits — before deciding to award a grant.

The ELENA program reverses this order. Allows you to obtain a professional energy audit of a building, an energy efficiency audit or a certificate of energy performance of a building with an own contribution of only 10% of the value of these studies.

Key information about the ELENA project:

  • Subsidies — 90% of the gross cost,
  • for whom: SMEs and Small Mid-cap and Mid-CAP companies from the provinces of Małopolska, Mazovia, Lublin, Łódź, Silesia, Podkarpackie and Świętokrzyskie in the case of FARR and for the whole country in the case of Employers of Poland
  • purpose: preparation for investments that reduce primary energy consumption,
  • State aid issue: Importantly, this support does not reduce the de minimis aid limit!

What can you obtain documentation for with our support?

As specialists and auditors, we help you go through this process by preparing the key documents listed in the regulations, which are necessary to demonstrate the required energy effect, including:

  • energy audit of the building,
  • energy efficiency audit,
  • certificate of energy performance of the building.

Our services as part of the energy efficiency audit

The audit is a key step in the process of applying for grants and grants. We will prepare a study that will meet the requirements of the Energy Efficiency Act and meet the expectations of, for example, an ecological loan.

What is the process like?

  • Step 1: Submission of an application to the ELENA team for the financing of documentation.
  • Step 2: Verification and acceptance of the application by project experts.
  • Step 3: Signing of a tripartite agreement (Investor, VIVERNO and FARR/Employers of the Republic of Poland).
  • Step 4: The implementation of the energy audit, for which the company pays only 10% of the gross invoice, the remaining 90% is covered by the ELENA project.

Important: To benefit from 90% co-financing, you must select a contractor entered on the official List of FARR/Employers of the Republic of Poland. VIVERNO has the right skills and experience to support you throughout the process.

Why start now?

Although the call for proposals under the ELENA mechanism implemented by FARR continues until By the end of 2027., and implemented by the Employers of the Republic of Poland until June 2027, the pool of available funds is confined, and interest in the program is constantly growing. In addition, the investment itself — carried out after the audit — should be completed before the end of 2027. or later, after obtaining special permission from the ELENA team.

This means that the sooner you start preparing the documentation, the more confident you are

  • you will fit into the schedule of the program,
  • the funds will continue to be available,
  • you will start saving real energy and heat costs faster thanks to the implemented solutions.

Want to see if your investment qualifies for ELENA?

We help to assess whether the planned activities meet the requirements of the program and whether the investment has the appropriate potential to achieve energy savings.

We verify the technical assumptions, analyze the possibilities of primary energy reduction and prepare documentation that meets the standards of the ELENA program.
