CDP report: reliable environmental rating
We will prepare your company to complete the CDP questionnaire and then carry out the entire process with due diligence (adequacy, accuracy in data preparation and timeliness).

Sistema CDP
CDP (formerly the Carbon Disclosure Project) is an international non-profit organization that operates a global environmental disclosure system for investors, companies, and cities and regions. The rating obtained in the rating indicates the commitment and progress of the organization in environmental activities. Obtaining a low rating should be a motivation for the next years to try to contribute to positive changes and improve the image of the company. Regardless of the environmental benefits, a conscious commitment to climate action can contribute to increasing competitiveness in the market and becoming a leader in your industry.
At VIVERNO, we guide our clients through the verification process at CDP from registration to receiving the final evaluation. In January 2022, we were the first company in Poland to obtain CDP accreditation in the field of carbon footprint reduction services. We have in-depth knowledge of the methodology behind the CDP questionnaires. However, such know-how would not be sufficient without a comprehensive understanding of decarbonisation processes, carbon footprint calculations or value chains. In working with our clients, we constantly repeat that the CDP rating is a path of long-term improvement, which requires very informed decisions in the field of environmental management strategy from the very beginning. When we advise clients applying for CDP, we always take into account the subsequent years, that is, what is the potential for the development of the commitments accepted. Raising your rating by one or even two notches at the beginning of the road is incomparably easier than maintaining high ratings at the CDP for many years. We effectively help the business in these processes.
Nasze realizacje
In 2024, POLLENA S.A. was once again decided to disclose environmental information through CDP. This time the questionnaire focused on the issue of climate change and the impact on water resources. VIVERNO's task was to support the company in creating point scenarios, preparing the company to develop the data necessary for disclosure and filling out a questionnaire in the CDP portal.
VIVERNO experts dedicated to our project showed extraordinary responsiveness and readiness to help at any time. Their availability and commitment were invaluable, which made the entire reporting process much easier for us. Although we had to complete a certain part of the tasks ourselves, due to the specifics of the specific questions included in the form, we also received valuable support in these areas. The experts also provided us with relevant recommendations, which allowed us to better understand how our actions fit into a broader relationship of sustainability and transparency.
The cooperation with POLLENA on the CDP report covered all stages of the company's preparation for disclosure. Initially, we conducted an analysis of the company's carbon footprint in all 3 ranges in accordance with the requirements of the GHG Protocol standard, which allowed for a more comprehensive response in CDP regarding the manufacturer's emissivity. As you know, the CDP system evolves and constantly makes changes in the guidelines, question formulas, scoring methodology, as well as the appearance of the questionnaire. Therefore, we got acquainted with all the updates in detail.
Then, we prepared our own data aggregation tools to ensure the easy flow of information. We have also developed a separate form for analysing risks and opportunities related to climate and water. At all times, we provided full support both in terms of content and organization.

What do our customers say?

VIVERNO supported us in the reporting process to CDP, focusing on climate and water related areas. As part of the execution of the order, we received a huge dose of knowledge, which turned out to be extremely helpful in the context of fulfilling the requirements of the report. We were introduced to this year's requirements in detail and systematically carried through key points that could pose a challenge.

Do you have any questions? We have the answers!
Are the questionnaires in CDP different for corporations and small and medium-sized enterprises?
Companies can disclose their environmental information using the Full Corporate Questionnaire or the SME Questionnaire. The second was previously the Minimum Version Corporate Questionnaire, but has now been replaced by a version dedicated to small and medium-sized enterprises. The questionnaire for SMEs contains less data to be disclosed and simplified question formulae.
What is the thematic scope of disclosure in CDP?
The CDP report consists of four categories (to choose from):
- climate impact and initiatives taken to mitigate and reduce adverse impacts;
- protection of water resources,
- the use of forest resources,
- plastic pollution.
How long does it take to prepare information for a response in CDP?
It is impossible to unequivocally determine the time required to prepare and fill out the questionnaire. This depends primarily on the maturity of the company, the type of questionnaire and the number of categories in which the information is disclosed (climate, water, forests, plastic). Another aspect relevant to the assessment is the extensive analysis of risks and opportunities, which can prove problematic for companies disclosing themselves for the first time. The estimated time to prepare a complete answer is 3-6 months.
Can only companies invited by other companies disclose themselves in the CDP?
If a company shows a desire to submit a report and obtain a rating in the CDP, and has not been asked by any organization, it can disclose itself voluntarily. To do this, you need to register, pay the administration fee and fill out a questionnaire.
