The ING Polska Round Tables are a platform for dialogue, exchange of knowledge and experience for companies wishing to build their competitive advantage in the area of decarbonisation. The events were accompanied by valuable presentations, and the participants willingly entered into lively, substantive discussions, sharing their own perspectives.
During the meetings in Łódź, Krakow, Poznań and Wrocław, the VIVERNO team was represented by Marcin Milczarski, manager and leader of the ESG team. He actively participated in discussions on the potential and containment of decarbonisation, with a particular focus on the logistics and transport sector.Talks concerned, among others:
- the possibilities of decarbonisation in the context of cost pressure and competitiveness of the transport industry,
- the impact of regulation and market expectations,
- building an effective decarbonisation strategy,
- the role of intermodality and accompanying infrastructure (warehouses, handling centres),
- available models for financing the transition.
During the presentations, VIVERNO specific case studies were also presented, showing proven decarbonization levers applied to other customers and a practical approach to planning transformation in conditions of technological and economic constraints.
