About Ekomax Warranty
It is a free loan repayment guaranteewhich additionally gives you the opportunity to receive Subsidies in the form of capital subsidies. The programme is designed for SMEs, small mid-caps and mid-caps. The capital raised should be used for investments related to the implementation of energy efficiency solutions, which will contribute to a reduction of primary energy consumption of at least 30%. The warranty consists of the following components:
- energy audit of a thermo-modernization project — mandatory component determining the validity and scope of thermomodernisation activities,
- energy efficiency audit — optional component for additional planned investments to increase energy efficiency, such as modernization of production processes, replacement of machines or heat recovery systems.
Financing with bonus
The main element of the program is a guarantee securing the repayment of the investment loan. The warranty may cover up to 80% of the loan capitalsignificantly reducing the risk on the bank's side and facilitating access to financing. Importantly, the guarantee is completely free — the entrepreneur does not incur commission costs for granting it. In addition, SME entrepreneurs, who carry out the investment, can apply for a capital supplement of 20% the amount of the loan paid, which in practice significantly reduces the actual cost of financing and increases the profitability of the project.
Key condition for applying for funding
In order to benefit from the guarantee and surcharge under the Ekomax program, the investment must generate real energy savings. The basic requirement is achieving primary energy savings of at least 30%. The key document confirming the planned savings and scope of work is energy audit, which must be completed and attached to the application submitted in one of the banks cooperating with the Bank Gospodarstva Krajowego.
